The tourist season, from December to April, is the driest and sunniest time of the year. However, the rainy season, often little-known and little-visited, reveals its unsuspected charms: arid landscapes are transformed into lush jungle, the temperature is milder, the mornings are beautiful and it rains only a few hours in the afternoon, the general atmosphere is calmer and the beaches are less crowded.
