"Ultreia" is the word of encouragement of the pilgrims of the Middle Ages and of Santiago de Compostela to go further and further in search of the Source. The journey has always been a place of inner transformation, a space of freedom and spontaneity. The inner journey also takes place through the practice of meditation.
Meditation is a way to connect to the Source, to marvel, to enjoy Life, the present moment, to adapt to change and to go further in a surpassing and self-knowledge.
Meditation calls for silence and withdrawal, but it is not detached from action. It is in action that it reveals its promise. How can we experience inner peace and calm in our daily activities? I suggest you discover it by exploring Costa Rica by motorcycle. Combine the pleasure of riding a motorcycle with the desire to find oneself!
Riding a motorcycle requires qualities specific to the practice of meditation, such as constant attention and the ability to be surprised. This unique trip is an opportunity to learn about meditation, or to deepen the practice of meditation, to discover yourself and Costa Rica.
In addition to discovering beautiful landscapes, a colorful culture and a warm population, you will learn the benefits of meditation, its history, its various forms and the challenges of its practice. How to meditate while riding and how this practice can help our driving?

This is a 9 day (8 nights) tour.
Each day includes:
● 3 hours maximum of motorcycle riding
● 3 x 1/2 hour sitting meditation
● 2 hours of teaching and exchange
● Visits and tourist activities
● Free time

FOR WHOM AND IN WHAT SPIRIT ?
This activity is for all bikers, of all levels, wishing to combine discovery and self-knowledge.
The spirit of the expedition is not speed or overcoming great obstacles. On the contrary, it's about taking the time to enjoy the colors, the smells, the breeze and the wind, the microclimates, the different types of terrain and the everyday scenes.

ITINERARY
The itinerary will start and end in San José. The proposed stages and relays may change depending on the number of participants and availability. In any case, we will try to find the best opportunities.
After a first night close to San José and the international airport, and a first debriefing, we will head to Arenal, the largest volcano in Costa Rica, passing by the Poas volcano to contemplate its majestic crater.

We will stay two nights in Areal to enjoy this extraordinary volcanic setting and its hot springs.
Then, we will put the course on the Pacific coast, destination: Playas del Coco.
We will continue south along the Pacific coast, by tracks, to reach Samara known by surfer with its white sand beaches.
We will then go to the southern end of the Guanacaste region to discover the wildlife that makes the country famous.
We will cross the Gulf of Nicoya by boat to reach Puntarenas and then Monte Verde, famous for its jungle and its walks in the canopy.

We will end this exploratory and interior journey in San José where we will attend a performance by local singers committed to peace and spiritual renewal in connection with ancestral indigenous traditions.
AVAILABLE BIKES
We prefer light motorcycles, ideal for Costa Rica, and suitable for both on and off road. If you would like a larger bike, please let us know.
